African Head Dresses pt2

In my last post about African Head Dresses, I said I would update with instuctions on how to achieve a head dress yourself. Time has pass by and I still have not got around to doing this. Until a comment pursed me to into action.

There is an array of information on the net expaining and showing how to create your own head dress or headwrap. I went through most of what I found and actually tried to follow what they were saying. The ones I have chosen were clear, simple and straight to the point. The You Tube video “how to” was a bit long but I enjoyed watching the lady, and her dance demonstration at the end, to prove that the head dress or headwrap will not move was a great way to to prove her point.

I hope the following information is as helpful to you as they were to me.

I found a great website, which showed clearly and simply how to acheive a head dress or headwrap.

The first is a Head Dress which covers the whole of the head.

The second is a Head Dress which allows you to show off some hair.

All Thanks goes to a site called h4d (dot)com who had the best instructions I found. the site offers the basics you need to get started and the indiviuallity comes from you the wearer. Check them out www.h4d.com.

This is instructional video is from You Tube.

While you watch, see the t-shirt she is wearing, listen to what she says about it, you will be very surprised. Great idea though.
